2nd Classic Videogames Tournament final placings

After several years that the classic videogames tournament couldn't be celebrated by any different reasons, finally this year the so acclaimed tournament could take place. It was on July, the 25th at 5:00 pm when the 2nd classic videogames tournament organizaed by RetroEuskal took place with great attendance of contestants.

The number of contestants in the tournament was limited to 20 people with the intention of being more dynamic and enjoyable for everyone. And the contestants' names were the following ones:

Contestant's name
 Newjack
 Rolacagi
 Panxito
 Veros
 Hombrelobo
 Truko
 Kashe
 Joze
 Aker
 Angel
 Friker
 Eon
 Metraya
 Tezanos
 Nabe
 Pezezin
 Vgsmuzzy
 Sparrow Hawk
 Ilun
 Hantxo

After finishing the inscription time for the contestants, the tournament started but no before Iñaki Grao gave the appropriate explanation of the tournament guidelines:

and with Fede Álvarez and Josetxu Malanda (alongside Iñaki) acting as judges for the tournament:

And finally the tournament received the starting signal! The short minute of time given to progress in each game didn't give the option of showing the particular abilities and the final results were very tight with very little differences in the final scores of each game for each contestant.

Eventhough the games could be known, the fact of limiting the time of playing did that each contestant needed to take the best out of that minute getting points everywhere they could. Sometimes a little bunch of points could be of vital importance to be able to get any points from the final results and added to final score could make the contestant success getting the final triumph.

After a hard battle using the joystick against the 5 chosen games, the tournament came to an end and then there was the turn for the judges to gather all the scores donde and decide who will get the three prizes corresponding to this 2nd tournament.

With great nervousness and impatience, the contestants waited the judges to finish their deliberations, so Iñaki could grant the 3 fantastic packs of prizes to the lucky winners:

And now, without delay, the winners of the 2nd classic videogames tournament organized by RetroEuskal are:

3rd place: PANXITO

2nd place: ROLACAGI

And the best of the best... the master of classic videogames... is:

1st place: HANTXO

RetroEuskal has no more than grateful for the great attendance and the good mood of everyone and congratulate the winners. We hope they'd return next year  to the 3rd classic videogames torunament to defend their respective placings... and to the rest, we invite to try to defeat them.
